This year is really hard. The 16 looks really really good. If not for the 60hz (which I am able to see because I chose to) I would not get the pro. But anyone else, they should get the base model in my opinion

Traded in my 12 pro max last week for a $350 gift card. Using that on Friday to preorder the 16 pro max. Giving the 15 Pro to my son at a huge discount. He’s 18 so I have to make something 😅

I use 15 pro max and I'm heavily invested in Apple ecosystem but I would never buy a non pro iPhone with slow charging and a 60hz display for 800USD because for the same price I can easily get a good flagship android... its sad that you have to pay more for basic features that are available in even cheap androids.

60hz is a deal breaker, dont care about new or old cpu or usb 2/3 or better camera, wanted 120hz screen, so either pro(which is unlikely) or wait another year
