Graphical fidelity isn't everything. The art direction and general look of a game is infinitely more important than how graphically detailed a rock or piece of armor is. I would much rather fromsoft focus on important parts of the game, like actual gameplay components and the art direction, instead of wasting development time into making super high fidelity next gen graphics.

One thing I absolutely love about the demon souls remake is the riposte and backstabbing animations being unique not just to the weapon types but also if you're 2 handing or not. The only other souls game that's done something similar to this is ds2 and I really hope going forward they add more variety to the critical animations

As good as Eldin Ring was in general, I do agree how graphically it's just about the same if not a little better than Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne. I love how much love and care was put into the Demon's Souls remaster. You could tell the team knew what they were doing compared to the team that did the Dark Souls 1 remaster..

Its because fromsoftware didnt remake demons souls, bluepoint did it. Fromsoftware's engine is too bad to make a game that runs like DeS Remake. Even on elden ring its so poorly optimised on ps5 with texture popins and frame drops. I didnt have any of that with DeS remake

The Demon's Souls remake is not the best it's got great visuals and it definitely feels good to cast spells and hit things but the combat really isn't great
