Hoping to work for Cartoon Network one day..but I guess I can only dream! As long as I'm in a stable position, living my dream as an animator would be lovely.

Honestly, the salary really isn't a part of my decision to become an animator, I want to be an animator because it sounds exciting, and I LOVE to draw and create stories. But hearing that it can pay 1000 dollars a week. Hey, I'm not complaining!!

$1500 dollars a week ! thats not bad. Hey thats good enough for me to live on when i get older. I dont want to just do it for the money because i have my own ideas i want to make come true.

Even though I'm passionate about starting my animation course in university, this has given me an extra drive! Thank you.

Guys, remember he said 1000 to 1500$ minimum, as you get more experience and even get contacted by studios, the money will start growing and you shouldnt give up for the money cuz anybody can do it

Just starting animation in college now. $1000 a week doesn't seem all that bad once we get moving. I'll take 600-700 as well given how it's way better than what I'm making now. Problem is, moving out of my town seems to be a certainty to get the good jobs.

He's talking about staff animators; these people work under supervising animators who, depending on their talent, experience and performance, can command up to triple their wages. Moreover, the bigger studios dole out handsome bonuses to employees, depending once again on their performance, or the success of the project.

Once he said how much an animator will get paid a week, i replayed it just to make sure it was the right thing. Cause I remember everyone telling me that it wasn't a good job.

Don't do it for money newbies it's a passion driven job. You'll not probably be rich and there is a chance that you will suffer..i dont want to be a downer but... nuff said.

As a freelance animator, the salary varies greatly from month to month. The hardest part is gaining momentum and staying consistent. It can take me over 100 hours to produce just 1 minute of hand drawn animation.

Great info in your video.
