Smoked brisket oven recipe that is very tasty! The brisket turns out juicy, smokey, and very tender. If you don't have access to a smoker this recipe will allow you to mimic the taste of your traditional smoked brisket, and even if you do have a smoker - this recipe will give you another cooking method for your repertoire. What I used:
Brisket (18lbs untrimmed)
Worcestershire sauce
Mustard
Salt
Peper
Garlic (dried & minced)
Baking tray

My experience with liquid smoke was horrible! I vowed to never try it again, but after this vid... I might just try it. MIGHT!

I once had a guy teach me how to bbq smoke a brisket in the oven using liq smoke. IT WAS AWSEOSME!! I followed his simple instructions given by landline phone lol and I was floored how good it It was better than any bbq joint and I've ben to many!! He is a master cook indoor and out, however, I lost contact with him.
Was a brother law of an ex girlfriend. 😢
At the time, I thot the instructions were so amazingly easy, I would never forget them but somehow I still did, over 26yrs ago.
What I can remember is I did use Liquid Smoke and I think he had me flip the brisket over halfway thru the cooking or all thru the process for the fat to be on top which he sd was Very Important and NOT to forget that! I can't recall how much liquid I used or having it upside down all the way or halfway thru the cooking???? He sd buy any brisket rub and I'll be fine and so I did.
In the end, the crust was so perfect, dark like u see on advertising's (dark yummy tree bark) a very well flavored meety part along with the softer jucy smoked layer underneath. I do remember I was amazed how ez it was and how it beat many times I smoked a brisket outside for 16hrs attending it after midnite. I joked I would sell bbq brisket fr the oven to folks on street and they wouldnt even know it, as I wld hv grill just smoking for show 😂
It was amazing and I kick myself for forgetting the secret recipe.
His name was David Rangel, Dallas Texas. Awesome griller 6 strz!
I think it was ready in 10 -12hrs and you could make money beating known BBq places with it and many family owned shops.
Word to the wise Never be young arrogant foolish ... write the info down on anything and protect it at all costs on anything you'll find very very important later in life 🧑🏻🧓🏽😢
In 2023 this would be gold to eat indoors for weeks cheaper than going out for 3x a day making all kinds of different dishes with it.
