The scout armor passive is require to see points of interest by marking the map. This isn't necessary to locate the ore veins, but is necessary to see it as a POI on your map before going there. I failed to mention this in the video.

you also need to note that some maps have 2 of those silver rock structures and only one will have the super samples ive found the dummy ones before to using this method but eventually was able to find the right one

Actually, there is 5 on dif 8. And to my knowledge that is a fixed amount. 3, 5, 6. Not once have i, ever, seen something like 12 or 18 or any multiple of the previously mentioned numbers, ever, in any mission. Quite frankly, imagine 18 super samples in one mission lol. You dont need that many, you'd be quarter done with just one mission or so.

Cool! It's frustrating when some players only concentrate on objectives even when I've highlighted like a 2 man entry door etc, they just don't seem bothered! It would be ok if after completing a mission on higher difficulty you automatically were given the samples! That's too easy I suppose! lol
