I really enjoyed working at olive garden at first, I was a dish washer than moved to line. The reason I continue to stay is due to my amazing co workers in line and dishes cause we know how hard it is and we give each other a hand when closing. If u want work for a great company olive garden is the place, however the disappointing managers they have and the servers who are not only enjoy being loud and stand around while there tables food gets cold at the window, but the lack of employees for the over demanding work one has to go threw. I came in with 4 people in dishes and 5, 6 in line but now down to 2 dishes or even 1 at times. 3 in line or even 2. The overwork and the underpayment of the restaurant to pressure to the back of the house is ridiculous. Not on top of being send home due to being a slow day for the others to do the works for 2 even when it picks up, or the lack of hours because there labor hours and that bonus check they receive is really killing the workers. Nobody cares if they put 2 lines to do the work of 5 on a bussy evening. Or care about how they have to pay bills and mouths to feed when getting hours cut or even send home. I us3d to work 50+ hrs with the help of others around me which I loved. Now I get not even 30. I worked days that needed me and overworked myself when others got send home early. I would be embarrassed to be the ceo of this place. But I got to work and I have a family to feed and bills to pay. Yall enjoy your bonus.
