I love kitchen tips with Andy. I would watch a hundred of these and I don't even eat steak.

Oh boy, my dad's rolling in his grave now. LOL he was a one-time flipper. However, yours makes much more sense, and I love your jingle "Kitchen tips with Andy" 😃😋🥩

I watched to hear you sing. Twice! 6:10am and ready to farm on a Sunday 😂

I started actively cooking my steaks a couple years ago and flipping them regularly. Glad to hear that a professional suggests exactly that!

I’ve been cooking steaks frozen and I have zero moisture loss when compared to a steak that was thawed. I’m surprised it has not caught on more. I have seen America’s test kitchen prove this.

Do what's best for you. I used to flip once or twice but now I flip very often and I like the steaks more that way. Comes down to preference I guess

So few times do i see someone give this information and it's really good 👍
So many "pros" on the tube say "two to four minutes per side" or more... You just end up with a grey steak.
I'll often go about two forst side, then one the second then go right in to the oven if it's thick and oven finishing is the answer.
Then rest it and go back for basting if that's "on the menu." 😊

I don't flip my steak ever, I have one charred and massively overcooked side and one completely raw side, it averages out to a perfect medium rare
