Took my car into the garage and there trying to charge me £1100 for solaroid and hub can anyone give me advise on how much it would really cost me as that's abit extreme for a plastic sensor

Hello. PLEASE HELP. First, thank you in advance for any help you may be able to provide. I'll keep it to the point:
I have a 2011 Honda Accord. Engine is great, transmission FREAKS OUT @ 3, 000 RPM. It will shutter and shake and refuse to shift. If the throttle is minimal, it will shift fine all through the gears. No matter what if that tach is brought up to 3, 000 RPM it will refuse to do anything, it just neutralizes.
Again, if I drive easy and let off the throttle just before 3K RPMs, it will shift and continue without any issues.
Please tell me where this problem is coming from to the best of your knowledge. ANYONE'S THEORY IS WELCOME!

Evap solenoid valves big pain . Intermittently sticking causing a check engine code. Looking for an affordable bidirectional scan tool. No luck so far . My budget limit is 400 dollars
