My Deepest Apologies for not noticing this but the controls for revenge counter & Perception from Classic to Standard seem to be different. I’ll explain here :

Classic controls revenge counter is L1 Double tap

Standard is simply pressing R3

Considering Circle says Perception for standard controls i assume you Hold Guard then Press circle for your character to strike the pose .

I did not play classic so I could be wrong but I doubt it ..

Absolutely love the controls and gameplay—perfect for when you've only got two or three fingers working. It's like they designed it with a 'disabled-friendly' mode in mind from the start.

I was reading the basic control guide on Bandai's website and apparently the clash mini-game becomes the original stick wiggle if you use the classic scheme! Neat!!
