ER Emergency on our Cruise - Chris Got Injured

NOT good morning....this was not the way we intended our morning to go. I am starting to get some serious PTSD from fire alarms in hotels. I'll never forget when we got stuck on floor 2 with smoke coming out of a room on the hall we were staying on. It was horrifying. Then Chris was hurt in the pool during our first days on the ship. I swear we are jinxed when it comes to cruises! The next month of vlogs are going to be amazing and I can't wait for you all to see them!

We have a fire alarm go off around 3 times a month in our apartments so we just ignore it now and stay inside. LOL

Bless his heart. I remember when my nail got pulled down into the quick on the corner and it was so painful but what was even worse was when my teacher said that I was fine and need to get back to work. She was mean. But I had to go to the bathroom and tear the rest that was hanging that was the worse part because I had to go through more pain than I was already in. I will pray for healing and comfort for him.

Sounds like you keep having exciting vacations! Imagine if nothing happened and you actually had to relax and be on 'vacation' instead? Would be soo boring, but poor Chris, omg, get better soon and hope your finger recovers quick, ouchies! I can relate to Chris. My middle finger just got stepped on by a hockey skate. It sliced half my fingernail off. I used gauze and medical vet tape with lots of polystyrene. I was able to leave it open about a week later. Hope yours heals as fast as mine

Fun fact: just cause there’s a fire truck doesn’t mean there’s a real fire truck, the fire dispatch gets alerted when any fire alarm goes off.

In any case when a fire alarm is set off it takes the fire department to shut the alarm 🚨 off. So the fire department will always have to show up at the hotel.
