2 Weeks with the iPhone SE!

Here is my honest review of the iPhone SE after two weeks of use. Should you buy it or should you save your money and buy the iPhone 6s or the upcoming iPhone 7? Is Apple's attempt to make a super fast new iPhone in a old iPhone 5s body a fail?

I know a few people who were super excited about this. One attorney in their mid-30s and two people in their 50s. Some people just want iOS, but without the larger screen, and without the older hardware I guess!

I just picked one up space grey 64gb. I had a 6s and was using a 6plus. I tried my old 5c for kicks one day and fell in love with the one hand usability and longer battery life. Plus with an A9 inside, better camera, and NFC, it's a win. Great review Danny as always your vids are mad nice!

It's pretty much a perfect phone for me. I don't take selfies, I don't watch video on my phone, the battery life is excellent, it's pocketable, fast, great camera and has Apple Pay.

Don't get me wrong, for a lot of people this would be worthless, but Apple made a near perfect phone for what I do. There is a market for this kind of thing, even if small!

Good review, although it seemed you were out to 'not like it' from the start. I have smaller hands, and large phones just really bug me. It has the same power as the 6s, albeit in a smaller form factor, which I have been waiting for, for some time now. Smaller phones are great for when yo are out for a walk, bike run, or even in your pocket.

Apple KNEW what they were in for with this design. Using their old casing was a plus, as the design still looks fresh and smart. I spent a couple of days using this, and can honestly say that it is a breath of fresh air. Selfies are hardly my style, so a 1.2mp camera is hardly cramping. I have dropbox which uploads all my content immediately, so I am even comfortable with 16gb. I use Spotify as my main music supplier... I don't even NEED to put music on it.

The camera is simply superb, and as for movies, it is simply breathtaking.

This phone is perfect for those who work with ios/osx, but do not want or need to be saddled with a large screen. I have my ipad for that.

It's true that the iPhone SE 64GB is "only" 150$ away from the iPhone 6S 16GB. But it is 250$ away from the iPhone 6s 64GB.

If you like the iPhone 5 design but want newer specs, buy it. Simple as that.

Some prefer smaller, some prefer bigger. I, personally, inlove with the phone and it's size. Perfect phone for the needs of mine

It's weird how a lot of tech reviewers praised the iPhone 6s for the performance bump that the A9 chip gave it over the iPhone 6 and had no problem with the display resolution of 750p staying the same between the two phones, but now on the iPhone SE the performance bump (which is even bigger between 5s and SE than between 6 and 6s) doesn't really matter anymore but suddenly the resolution is the problem?

its a powerful 4-inch display phone with longer battery life...what's the problem with that? Unless you bought every iphone that came out lol. Sorry but not everyone took the iphone 6s bait.

I like the SE. I like the metal looking body vs the round edge of the 6s. I never like the 6s.

My iPhone 5 is dying, i don't want the 6/6s because it's to big (i have small hands) and i have to throw away all of my beautiful cases. I think for people like me, who don't want to buy bigger phones, this phone is a really good outcome. I don't have to throw away all my cases from the iPhone 5. And I really love the design of the 5/5s.

If i want to play games on a bigger screen, i have a laptop and tablet for that.
A phone is still a phone. It will never replace the laptop of tablet for me.
I still think it's a good review.

Your suggestion to buy iphone 5s instead of SE is pretty bad. The speed and the chipset of 5s is outdated

Having used every single iphone available since 3GS (except 6S) I have to say I am happy with this iphone. Last phone I have used was iPhone 6 and even though I could use it one handed it was still a little too big. For me I want a phone with extra capabilities not a tablet with phone capability. For people that think like me iPhone SE is a dream come true.
