2 Weeks with the Google Pixel/Pixel XL!

Here is my review of the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL after 2 weeks. Did Google make their Phones better than the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus? Does this phone with Google Assistant, Android 7.1 and a great camera make this the best phone of 2016 or is it just too expensive?

you speak about excessive noise during low light shots and also mentioned that it can't be removed with HDR off. however, it can be removed with HDR+ on. A-HDR+ creates a lot of noise, but if you let the camera use HDR on, then it has no peers in the current class of Smartphones. also, you can tap on a subject area on the screen during a low light A-HDR+ shot and get a noise free image. But, you can not just let the camera meter an A-HDR+ shot in low light and get the best results.

Definitely agree with the price. Great phone but because of the features that lacks it shouldn't be in that price range. Still a great phone though.

Great video. I love Google but I totally agree with you. They picked the most expensive carrier in the nation to launch the Pixel phones. I guess I'll never be able to try the XL. 😞

I agree about the crazy price, I was considering upgrading from my HTC 10 until I realised the 128gb XL would cost almost $1500 Australian. Definitely not worth it, I will wait for next year, they'll hopefully have a more attractive design then.

Ayyy getting this phone in a week. I had a really hard time deciding between the pixel xl, iPhone 7 plus and galaxy S7 edge. All are so amazing but I can't explain why I'm so attracted to this phone. Such a hard decision, and let's just say if the s7 edge in coral blue was available at this time where I live it would be even harder to pick. But yeah I'm stoked

Great video Danny. I was so excited to pick up the Pixel XL, until it was a Verizon exclusive. Was able to get the V20 on Sprint for $350, which has been great.
