not what you meant but fun fact: all apps on macOS are folders. .app isn’t an executable nor an archive, it’s just a folder with a special structure and if you move it to another os you can browse it normally (or even on macOS with the View Package Contents option or just cd in the Terminal). This is actually an approach I kinda like cause it means that apps can be entirely portable by default (all resources and stuff are just within the folder, no need for installation) without making them giant blobs of unmodifiable binary data

iOS used to have a landscape lock on the 6+, 7+, and 8+ when the larger phones had 16:9 screens and the Home Screen even had a landscape orientation. It went away with the longer aspect ratio on the X and newer.

FYI, the way the American Cash Cab production worked was as follows:
You'd sign up to be on a gameshow. It was a fake show. They told you they were filming shots of you going to the studio. They told you where to be and where to tell the cab to go and made sure you were all ready and releases were all signed. The cab would pull up along with chase cars and cameras set up and all kinds of things that really weren't too subtle. They had the permits and safety standards needed for recording a moving vehicle safely and legally. But the contestant thought it was for a different show... and then it turned out to be Cash Cab.

Youtube should introduce option to cut the copyright content with another clip to replace it, so the video still remains up, and creator has option to clip the part out which is copyrighted.

You shouldnt be able to report whole video as copyright infringement, if a 10 sec clip is played in 20 min video.

He was streaming while holding his phone, reading and responding to chat, driving in the fast lane in the pouring rain while speeding at 70 mph. Then desided to heavily accelerate a rear wheel drive sports car right after saying he was probably going to wreck the car.

One of my favorite apple moments was learning that an iPhone can work as a webcam for a MacBook, which is awesome!
Except… it only works if both devices are in the same apple id. So if you have a work phone and personal MacBook (or vice versa), no webcam for you…
As a bonus, it’s automagical so there’s no menu to set it up. Which of course means that there’s no menu to troubleshoot if it doesn’t work. Instead you have to turn bluetooth off/on or sign out of your apple ID and back in (on both devices) and hope for the best.

PiP in YouTube on iOS requires:
1. YouTube Premium
2. Turning on PiP in the /youtube app/ settings under General > Enable PiP

You might also have to turn on auto pip in the iPhone’s general settings

iOS 18 does seem to be the buggiest iOS in a while. The leading theory is that too much focus was put into Apple Intelligence since Apple was clearly playing catch-up there and more of the refinement fell through the cracks.
