The difference between China and USA is their government makeup.
China has a government full of engineers, scientists, mathematicians ...
USA has a government full of Corporate Lawyers.
It doesn't take much thought about ... government is going to serve the interests of their Citizens first and fast ... and which country is going to serve the interests of Corporations first and fast.

China is a "worker" nation. Look at the Great Wall and the world will know China is a keen builder even thousands of years ago. Chinese people derive satisfaction and achievement by working hard to overcome difficulties and installing infrastructure that will bring about prosperity and economic development. It beats going to other countries to wage wars and hostilities causing deaths and destruction as that is not in the Chinese culture.

In my wlidest dreams, I couldn't see the Chinese advancing so far in such a short period of time. I still remember when my mum first took me to shenzen, it wasn't much more than some rickety huts and but look at it now.
From mere farming peasants, they are now at the forefront of technology and civil engineering. Just take a look at some of their incredible recent achievements. I mean, who would have thought the Chinese would be making cars that the likes of Mercedes, BMW, porsch, etc would be fearful of?
And do you know what impress me more than their achievements? They did it peacefully. They didn't resort to stealing, cheating and lying.
If I were to ask you what has your country built or achieved in the last 5 years that you would be proud of, what would your answer be?

China has built 500 cities in 50 years, enough road to get to the moon and back, enough HSR to navigate the globe, more mega projects than the rest of the world combined, so yeah, that comes with a HUGE skill and experience level when it comes to building. China has building anything down to a fine art, whether its record breaking tunnels, or bridges, super dams, whatever it might be they can build it. In China the infrastructure and supplies are so good they can do it all in stunningly fast times. Its pretty amazing to see China, really, an amazing country.

10+ years ago when me & my biz partner first went to Shenzhen to source for some electronics for our project, our other partner that been to Shenzhen told us he forgotten the supplier name, but just get off the train station at a street famous of electronic stuff, there are not many tall buildings. Just head towards the tallest one and will find what we want.

When we came out of the train station both of us shouted 'WTF!', the whole street is lined with high-rise buildings 😂, still a good laugh.

China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has expanded to Africa, Oceania, and Latin America. The West views the BRI project as an unsettling expansion of China's rising power, a Trojan horse for China-led regional development and military expansion. To counter what they described as China's expansionist intensions, the United States, for example, had spent billions of dollars and flexed its diplomatic muscles to build infrastructure and foster cooperation with low-income countries. Such efforts by the U.S. and its allies to counter China's BRI project has achieved very limited effect, mainly because the West struggled to offer an alternative more appealing than China's BRI. Frustrated, some people in the U.S. suggested that the U.S. government should try to use China's BRI to pay for infrastructure in Central Asia where the U.S. also has an interest. That is one of the most shitty foreign policy suggestions I've ever heard, because it would just intensify regional tension.

If the West wants to compete with China's BRI, it has to at least make a more appealing offer - something it has not been able to do. So, they will continue to manifest their insecurity and jealousy through criticism and propaganda.
