I've had this for over 5 years now. Maybe even 8 I don't remember anymore. I don't really remember much from the time before I had this pedal. She's an amazing novice delay pedal and equally and great for intermediate players. You can outgrow anything really (as I am with boss pedals) but this one, I don't think anyone outgrows it. It's more or less the pedal that you keep forever until it dies on you completely. I've only had it died out once. From my experience, this pedal won't die on you 85% of the time. That's just from. T experience and from others I've met along the road. There are two tricks as far as I know for that sweet spot on dotted eight note delay. One is shown here and the other is the rhythmic delay where you tap on one and four. There's a video out there so where showing you it. So if you're asking if this or that, I would suggest this seeing as you can't go wrong with this one.

The first example (up until 45 seconds) displays that the mode is tape echo, when it is actually set on the mult-head mode (Roland space echo).

Just scored this DL4, in box, like new for....wait for it...$10 at a flea market! SCORE! Now let's just hope it turns on and works. Bought AS-IS...looks fine though. They said most of the stuff does work. Dude probably left for college and his mom just wanted to donate something for the charity event.

Spot on demo. Dub in a box - ideal for my brews - just one question - can I set the tempo of the delays with the tap switch before engaging the effect? i.e can I have no delay - tap in a tempo without delay then switch the delay on at the tapped in tempo? (hope that makes sense!!!!) Grateful for any help....

this pedal seems like the perfect thing, but I am hearing so much about them breaking down. why don't line 6 make them more sturdy? I see so many how to repair them yourself videos, and that is a bad sign, lol

Theres a lot of playing no tutorial with loads of questions. Just bought one as new with inst box and all stickers. Everything works so far but hell its tricky to get my head around. Managed a loop backing thought first time out.
Can we have some tutorials?

Can one use the modeler sound from the unit and make a loop at the same time or do i need a second looper like a boss to grab that???

Hey man, great video, but I keep wondering, what is that blues lick called what you play with the tube echo? Is it from a song, or did you just made it up yourself? It sounds familiar, but really great and I really want to play :) tell me your secret please?
