Line 6 | DL4 MkII | Part Two - Secret Functions

This DL4 MkII tutorial shows some of the secret functions, including tap tempo subdivision, accessing/modifying the secret reverbs, morphing knob positions with an expression pedal, and customizing the global settings.

The DL4 Delay Modeler has remained one of the most widely used delay pedals in the world for more than two decades. The DL4 MkII includes all the sounds and features of the original, while introducing new sounds and features. The 15 new MkII delays were drawn from our HX® family of amp and effects processors and the 4-Switch and 1-Switch looper types offer up to 240 seconds of record time (expandable to several hours using an optional microSD card). There's an XLR microphone input, MIDI In and Out/Thru connectors, heavy duty footswitches, three bypass options, and a jack for connecting an optional expression pedal or two footswitches. The DL4 MkII is also smaller and lighter than the original, making it an even more appealing choice for modern musicians.

any chance on an in-depth midi function video?

Suggestion for a firmware update: more midi integration with the Looper. Specifically I think it would be cool to have the loop length or play once controled by the midi clock so you coudl sync the DL4 MkII up to a drum machine/sample/sequencer. As far as I can tell the midi clock sync only really controls the delay time.

Hey, just bought the pedal, really good, but theres some thing i need help with:
whenever i set the time subdivision for example for triplets and save the preset, once i press another preset and go back to the one i put triplets it returns to 1/4 sub division. May anyone help me? i really need this function to work

Mine makes a little buzz following the tap tempo when the delays are off, any reason why?

I cant get an MXR Tap to work. I have it in the FS5 mode and tried every option on the tap. Then I even tried just shorting the tip and sleve and nothing.

I’m trying to use the MK2 tap tempo without the time stretch effect whenever I’m changing the tempo. Like it was in the old DL4. Please help!

I have no time to memorize the cheat sheet and 20 page Manuel. How about just clear bold names and fuctuin footswitches. Bpm led display. No guessing

Super easy, just make aure you have your cheat sheet and manual if you need to change anything.

What about the significant volume drop from the first DL4, is that fixed?
Why not have a dedicated looper shortcut?
As it sits, it’s still a “looper only” “delay only” style pedal… This is very sad to see.

My B switch stopped working after only a few uses. How about you make a hidden feature where your stuff actually works for longer than five minutes? Or have customer support that actually works. I’m selling what few line6 things I have and never buying this amateur brand cr*p ever again.
