Midi control is a *major* upgrade for this unit. I’ve been on the boss DD series for over 20 years and have no reason to change since the 500 came out…but it always shocks me when companies release new digital delays/verbs with no way of swapping patches with your controller/switcher/etc. If there’s any effect that you need to switch quickly, accurately and often, it’s your time-based stuff. Line 6 did it right with this unit 🤙

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The DL4 is one of my favorite pedals of all time. Unfortunately, mine that I had been using for over a decade and had some mods broke during an incident when I was moving a few months ago. Seeing this made me so excited! I already have a delay for my synths, but this one can receive MIDI clock, which would be a nice feature to have. If it can simulate crazy self-oscillation a la MXR Carbon Copy, I might have to get this.
