As a transwoman and former infantry, I 100% agree, the process is too damn fast and how quickly it got to this point is startling as well. Kids should NEVER have been brought into the equation. I transitioned when I was 23, I’m now 29 - I’m so glad that this stuff wasn’t being pushed when I was a teenager. The best piece of advice I ever heard at that age was: “If you want something permanent, wait 2 years to get it, if you still want it, wait another 2 years more. Your life will change in 2 years and it will be completely different in 4, you’re 16, learn to be an adult first before you make adult decisions.” I waited 8 years to make that choice and it’s been nearly 8 years since making that choice. I don’t regret it, I regret not being harder on my trans friends who didn’t have that advice and acting on impulse. I know for a fact that some of them aren’t trans and are only compensating for a poor father/ son relationship. For those who aren’t, I can’t tell you how many ppl in my community call me a transphobe and want to fight me because my standards are higher than they can reach. My standards are unachievable because not everyone should be able to do this, but those who actually try are the ones who need to prove to themselves that this is the path they really want. I surpassed my standards, I reached my goals and if I can do it, so can others. I’m not a gatekeeper by any means and even if I was, I would wear that label proudly because SOMEONE these kids look up to, needs to do it. Someone they idolize needs to tell them no, you need to wait and they need to listen to their elders. They’re just babies lining up like cattle for the butcher.

I think a lot of these people feel transitioning is the "fix all" for their struggles. The problem is men and women struggle equally, but different. Neither have it easier, just different flavors of struggle

I just finished the six hour interview never in my life have I asked anyone for an autograph or a favor from those in important positions throughout my life but if I Ever was to get an autograph it would be from Chris Beck. He was very nervous in the beginning so it’s a little shaky at the start but I don’t blame him for being nervous. After the break when he hyper focuses on everything with the seals you can actually see the joy come back into him easy life again. It was incredible!

Having known a couple of people who went down the transition path in the 90s, it was a long process reserved for adults. It was done with extreme caution.
Now it’s an express train, and we are seeing the consequences.
I have compassion for both actual transsexuals and those pulled into the latest cult

My ex wife's son. He is twenty nine years old went into planned parenthood and they started him on harmon replacement therapy, No prior transition no psychiatrist no nothing that's started him on hormones... He has never lived as a woman never dressed as a woman. He just started on hormone because he feels like he needs the identity of a woman... My personal opinion having known him for fourteen years is that he had no personality no identity because he spent his life as a gamer and never developed a personality... I personally have no issue if somebody wants to do this. But there needs to be proper steps taken just like learning to drive a car.

It's so irritating that people think it's that fast. Its never that fast. 1 session, a week or two until surgery? Try years to even start hormones. Its not fast or easy

i like how this dude immediately corrects himself if a number or something might be incorrect. He wants to be as honest as possible but still get his point across. Some people might interpret this as him not knowing what hes talking about but they dont realize how many people will B.S stuff all the time just to seem more knowledgable or reputable.
