Backup & Sync Obsidian Markdown notes to GitHub

Obsidian is a great note-taking app which is completely free for life. However, there are situations you could lose your work if your local system is corrupted. In this video, I will show you a free way to back and sync your markdown Obsidian notes using GitHub for free.

You will need to have a GitHub account and also install GitHub Desktop to sync your markdown notes from Obsidian.

Your video helped me a lot. one doubt how can I backup if i deleted one file only and if I accidentily edit a note and close Obsidian also If i don't know what I edited when how can i get back my notes?(pls forgive e for my bad English)

Now there is a git communtiy plugin for this. No need for the Github desktop.
