I recently installed iOS 17 on my iPhone 12 Pro. Your lesson works up to the point of exporting the new ringtone. You need to modify that step to the new iOS 17. It still works but there are new steps that must be taken to export it to the phone properly.

I had no music so I took a step further and converted YouTube to mp3 on google. Went under files instead of music and added the song I wanted. Now I needs better song for my woman’s ringtone. Thanks for the instruction!

well done, just a note if you have vlc installed and music in the vlc app, one can copy and paste trhe song into garageband folder, takes a little to get right but it works ok, thanks for video.:)
