anyone that cares about what happens to yellow jackets has never stumbled on a nest in their backyard.

My grandma died from an underground yellow jacket nest... and my mom nearly died a few summers back from being attacked by them also. Anybody that has something negative to say about killing these dangerous bees is a freaking idiot. Thanks for all your videos man, keep them coming!

Youtube is demonetizing pest extermination ? What a bunch of bull. Love your very helpful and honest videos, don't let the man get you down !!

I was stung over 75 times and followed for a half mile, after stepping on a nest. Yellowjackets are dangerous. This is a great idea.

Decades ago as a child exploring the rural landscape I grew up on, I jumped across a creek only to land on top of a yellow jacket nest. Luckily my dad was right there to pull me away or I'd prolly be dead. I enjoyed a few dozen stings within seconds. So seeing the negative comments from people calling you evil just makes me laugh. Ignorance must be bliss.

If anyone's watched the hornet King channel he always explains the difference between different pest insects and their behavior. German yellow jackets are a lot more docile than the ones we typically see in the eastern USA. Eastern yellow jackets are super aggressive and will attack without even being provoked.

All the workers returning: 👁👄👁

Shawn: Tell the other yellowjackets what you saw here.

I hope those people that flagged this video have a personal encounter with a yellow jacket nest. This hot dry summer in the Northeast this year has been brutal. We can't even sit outside they are constantly looking for meat and flying everywhere. People are clueless, great video.

It's a shame we can't even have a channel about how to deal with pests.. some people don't like others to succeed. I'm going to donate to your Patreon if you still have one.. thanks for the video.

This looks considerably safer than my preferred method, which involves low flash point hydrocarbons and matches.

Shawn, you’re the best and anyone who is being negative doesn’t know what yellow jackets are or had an encounter. Keep up the great work!

You really left those yellow jackets exhausted.

Yellow jackets are not only aggressive and dangerous, they also attack and eat honey bees. Feel free to look it up. What Shawn does is helping bees and their ability to pollinate.

It must be exhausting (no pun intended) to wake up every day having to find something to be offended about. Don't let them get you down Shawn!

I've made one of these from an old garden hose. Works great, just leave it longer than you think you need to. I also suggest leaving your stereo goin in your car if it idles quiet to remind you it's on.

Thanks for the videos Shawn. I use your advice from these videos for my handyman business, wasp, hornets, rodents, I call a bee guy when there's honey bees. It sucks you've been censored, but keep it going man. A few negative folks can't be the reason. Thanks Shawn. I appreciate you sir.

Pros: Simple and effective.
Cons: Too humane.

I take a small amount of powdered Sevin and put it at the nest entrance after dark. By mid afternoon the next day it is all quiet. Very safe and very affective.

Bummer about the demonitization, but don't sweat the haters. Their analogies are ridiculous. You're not going out looking for nests to kill; you're eradicating nests in places that are dangerous to people. If a nest is out of the way, all good. But the ones near my parents' front door or on a popular walking trail? They get gasoline.
