The gym community has a mix of wholesome people and douches. I saw one post shaming guys for wearing Nike sneakers and using a hydro flask and saying that those guys are weak 💀

I use lifting straps for heavy lifts, including weighted pull-ups. As 58 year old, arthritis in the wrists and hands is no joke. Thanks Sean.

As a lifting strap, I can confirm that I am on people’s hands even when they open car doors, prepare their post-workout meals, and choke the chicken 💀

i dont have lifting straps, and while i feel my grip strength improving a lot im starting to get to weight levels where my grip is the main reason i cant lift anymore

Normally I'll let the forearms wear out in the beginning of the workout and then use straps once they have worn out.
Edit: it's not that deep, your not the thinker.

Started using straps recently and they have elevated my pull days so much. For the first time I can go to failure without my forearms/grip completely buring out. Game changer

My palm are small and I can't do heavier deadlifts because of it.
