Car won't start but clicks? No start? Honda Pilot.....

It could be a bad ground. If the starter is going bad you can tap it with a metal bar which will usually make it work.

6am eastern. This was very helpful. I’ll have the fuel pump checked. Everything else is good, starter, battery and alternator. Also I had all connections/leads replaced. Should I check anything else?

I have a 2003 Honda Pilot and I just tried to start it up I can hear the starter clicking and when I try to start it, all the gauges on the dash start freaking out like crazy… do you know what could be wrong?!

i had the same thing in my honda. I found it was enough to hold the keys all the way down and after a while the engine would start.

I just changed my starter last week 2007 Honda Pilot and now it’s doing the same thing again. No starter. Fuel engages but nothing after that. After I changed it, it’s been working fine up till now. Any ideas?

Ok installed a new non reman starter but still won’t start. Fuel pump engages, battery is strong, I can hear the relay click but nothing from the starter itself. Both connections on the starter are secured. Could it be an ignition switch problem?

I changed the starter and the battery. It was working great but now it won't turn on immediately. I have to wait for a few seconds till I see the fuel gauge working and then I can start. Should I be concerned about it?

My pilot doesnt like to be jump started when I have a dead battery, I almost have to charge the battery for 10+ min to be able to jump started, what should I look for? The battery is a year old agm and the starter works fine when the battery is charged.

I have had to connect my battery charger set to Jumpstart 50a and my noco gb30 jumper pack together on my pilot for it to even try to turn over.

I couldn't hear the fuel pump on my vehicle so I found out my battery was dead even though I tried to charge it. Anyway changed out the battery and it's working just fine.

Where is the starter relay?? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Iv got the same problem. Put a new battery and a new starter. Cant find the starter relay in either of the 4 fuse boxes... This is an old video but Please help if you can
