Thank you, sir. And allow me to say that the world needs more "gigantic hugging machines."

Surely it’s in America’s own interest not to hold up its own privately owned space programs, specially if they want to stay ahead in the space industry in the years to come!? I don’t understand why they would want to hold up SpaceX! Great show as always!

The most recent Starlink launch went SE over the Bahamas instead of to the NE because, according to SpaceX, recoverability weather is much better during the winter months(the mid-north Atlantic can get quite rough- they almost lost that brand new booster last week)

It's unbelievable that we can put a satellite so close to the sun. We really have some out of this world technology! 😁

If the United States Government would get the heck out of the way, mankind could probably reach the stars this century instead of next century.

I think that the decision to catch the booster and starship was made years ago and only announced when design was mostly complete and launch tower construction was about to begin. The time between announcement and major parts arriving on-site was to short.

It's still so wild to me that SpaceX is achieving what was impossible 5 years ago on a weekly basis, yet the media stopped caring after the first few launches.

Great episode! Insane to see the sun's solar particles zooming by the spacecraft!

There’s something fundamentally wrong with taking months to write a report. SpaceX could build and test the next booster and starship before they approve the first one….😡. Sometimes I think that they want to delay it until after Artemis 1 so they can say, “The largest most powerful rocket.” Because if starship launches first, NASA can only say the most expensive…. Hoyah!

Thanks! Great info! The Parker probe was awesome! Amazing details of the sun's magnetic fields and particles as well as the gradual exposure of the probe, maximizing information before exceeding the probe's ability to endure extreme environments!

What's the matter Kevin? You seem noticeably more reserved, less enthused, than you normally do. Has something got you down? Whatever it is, I hope you get to feeling better soon.

It never occured to me that the landing legs on the final version will only need to handle the 1/3 the dry weight of the vehicle plus residuals if all earth landings are catches. Even less for the lunar starship.
