In todays video, I take a look at a 1998 Apple G3.
It is very interesting to note, just how much hardware is not being shared with Wintel machines, so, common bus standard and less proprietary hardware, that really set the Apple Macintosh apart, from the Wintel competitors.
This machine uses PCI slots, an ATi Sapphire Graphics card, USB ports, etc.
It was a high end machine, for 1998. I hope to find out just how it stacks up, today.
