I still have my iMac SE still in the box with everything that came with it. It still works plays DVDs, use iTunes for music, syncs to my iPod and plays the game Oni from Bungie.
I will never get rid of this computer, my father bought it for me, is my first PC ever and I hold onto it dearly because my father made a huge effort paying $1999 at CompUSA so I can study computer graphics.

This video brought back some amazing memories. The iMac G3 was the first computer I have ever used back in my elementary school's computer class, from 1st Grade to 5th.

I remember these coming out. They had a very mixed reception here in the UK. Definitely an iconic and memorable one whether you liked them or not.

I've got the eMac G4, like the iMac but with a 21 inch flat CRT. There were no colors but Ivory.

Being an iMac G3 owner myself, I really liked hearing your opinion on it. I have a Strawberry colored tray-loading machine that was the version before the slot-loading one you featured here. I'll definitely be looking to expand my collection with a slot-loading machine soon!

My school district still used iMac G3's up until about two years ago, in fact my school district ALSO still uses windows vista

As a G3 owner I'd just like to let you know that the models with the DVD drive and FireWire support up to 10.4.11, not 10.3.9
