#12 Honda PA50II Hobbit Race Gears gears!!! Installation
the gear swop should give me more speed, But it really is to change the gear ratio for CVT belt drive.

so far it was extremely hard to tune but after chopping down the spring that came from the TJT kit. i finally got it running about where i want it.

the stiffer spring also helps the "Down shift" it now dose "downshift." at arounf the 25-30MPH so it keeps me in that sweet spot after i slow down going up hill.

more to come on this and thoughts ECT.

Molasses lol. It's Malossi (muh-low-see)Sweet videos though! I like how thorough you are with explaining stuff, like your thought/work processes and how different situations call for different methods to solve problems.
Also, mopeds are awesome. I have a vespa ciao, it's my third moped that I've come across so far.. Very interesting engines on the vespa mopeds, rotary inducted intake through the rear of the case and the crank lobe/web is the valve that actuates it. They also come in single speed or variated drivetrains. If you ever have the chance to own one, go for it! They're unlike any other moped.

Back in the day, we changed out the Gears on the Hodaka Ace 100 from the helical cut to straight cut gears. The straight cut racing gears are a bit louder. I have straight cut 3rd gears in my Sand Car Trans and is it ever loud!

angled gears give you less noise while in operation.
