My man just casually skimmed over the Noble + Origin Dialga/Palkia + Arceus battles in Legends Arceus despite them probably being the strongest example of boss fights in a Pokémon game

Honestly, I wouldn't mind Legendary encounters be boss battles like Eternatus and Pecharunt from now on. I know some are on the fence about the whole "garunteed capture afterwards" thing but the only thing the "chuck a buncha balls" method does is show us how good a Timer Balls catch rate can be under these circumstances because it's tedious as hell. Just give the Legendary a big health bar and a stat boost or 2 and I think we should be good.

totems were so cool, the first totem pokemon especially. you're just doing your trial in the cave, when you go to grab the Z-crystal, and suddenly this BIG ASS SUPER SAIYAN gumshoos / raticate shows up out of NOWHERE and plays this SICK ASS MUSIC and calls in ANOTHER YUNGOOS to fight you
