Fun fact: EVERY boss was planned to have like a secret phase but they thought it would be to much work so they only made 3 secret phases. One for Botanic Panic with Horace Radish, one for Dramatic Fanatic where the husband dies, and one for Pyramid Peril where u skip Cuppet's phase but it will spawn a tiny Cuppet in the final phase that will keep shooting in 8 directions with every other bullet being parryable.

It isn’t a troll while cuphead was being developed they were gonna add a different character in the root pack it was rejected on the last stage to the game later they decided to make a secret boss

Fun fact there’s actually 4 different secret fazes (this one included)
1) the onion is the root pack was just explained
2)djimi the great (genie is world 2) has a secret for when he’s reading your mind (faze 4) make yourself small and the boss will combine 2 fazes (the one your supposed to fight and final one)
3) sally (actor in world 3) has a secret and it happens by parrying the kisses and than you stand on the angel babies long enough and the husband will d!e so Sally’s next faze will have nuns instead of babies and the 2nd final stage will have the husband beside sally as a god
4 DLC EXCLUSIVE) in the dog fight on the plane in the second faze when he dogs get below 21% hp there jet pack colour turns dark grey. If you get all of them at grey WITHOUT KILLING ANY the plane will take you into an easier final faze when you dove pineapples and fire hidrents

There are more secrets in the game (even though they've been in the game for years and only now people are talking about them but I digress) in djimme the great's boss fight in the fourth phase when he reads your mind shrink and he'll pull up a tiny puppet and this puppet will fight along with djimme in the 5th phase (yes it does skip the entire 4th phase) then in Sally stageplay's fight in the first phase using the hearts she fires at you parry up to the two angel statues this will loosen the chandelier and when the husband runs under it, it will crush him then in the next phase instead of going to their new house it transitions to a nunnery and instead of babies throwing bottles it'll be nuns throwing rulers (ps the differences here are that the babies throw the bottle straight down while the nuns can throw the rulers diagonally 2 there are 2 babies but 1 nun 3 there is a chance the ruler the nuns throw will be pink while the bottles can't and instead of the husband cowering in the background the priest will) and in the 3rd phase the husband comes back and he'll hold up some grapes and this makes some angels role out a fireball on wheels (ps the male baby that wasn't in the 2nd phase actually most likely is the angel in this phase kinda interesting) and in the final phase only the background changes where instead of the husband priest and the babies are taking their bows only the priest and nun are taking their bows (this is cause the husband is dead the female baby didn't star in this and the male baby is unexplainable Because remember he's probably the angel in the 3rd phase)

Another secret boss is during Djimmi’s fight, if you shrink the plane before he reads your mind the marionette is smaller but you have to fight it during the last phase
