I use both the iPhone pro max and an S24 Ultra. The fact that you still can’t have 2 apps open at the same time on the iPhone in 2024 is crazy. The only plus I see with my iPhone is that social media apps are more optimized for iOS but that’s about it. Productivity goes to my S24 Ultra.

Screens should be calculated based on how much of the screen is usable for viewing content, games, movies, browsing etc. The island is mostly a waste of space when it’s not activated.

I moved to samsung from iPhone 6-7 years ago, loved it, the technology was SO far ahead, however I feel we are at a point with phones now where it really doesnt matter which phone you have, the features and speed you NEED will be there, regardless what you go for.
That said, I have moved back to iOS this time for the 16 Pro Max, I love the dynamic island and the action button, I think the camera button will get better in time, but the double press to launch camera on Samsung was equally as useful. Just get whichever phone you want, you can't go wrong anymore 😊

I tested both the 16 pro max and s24 ultra at the store many days ago and I still think the s24 ultra is way more fun to use like my s23 ultra. The s pen w gestures and sound effects, multi tasking, open operating system, way better display lightyears ahead corning glass no reflections, good lock, emulation at a higher level w no limitations, Samsung TV ecosystem etc . I'll wait for the s25 ultra. I think Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Google, Red Magic, and Samsung are far ahead in innovation.


For me I left Apple years ago because it has too many limitations in comparison. For me I can't live without beinf able to download anything, edge panel and copy and paste clipboard, stylus support, no foldables etc but some things like imessage and consistent video quality, AI personal voice and iTunes few things here and there are implemented well but android is just more fun for me these days.

the new camera button in the iphone 16 is useless IMO, and because of that button, the designs of the cases became horrible as well. I was looking at the otterbox defender case for the 16 pro max, and it has a disgusting design because of the opening for the camera button. Hopefully the button goes away on the next phone iteration. BTW, in my case the S24 Ultra continues to be a better phone.

It all boils down to personal preference. I've used both in the past and I've managed to use Samsung way longer than iPhone because, it's just much more fun to use. After the brand new phone feeling wears off, I got bored with the iPhone. But the Samsung just excites me every time. There's just so many things to do. I always learn something new about my phone. Having said that, I will have to admit that the iPhone and its software is just a tad bit more polished and refined. That's it.

The dedicated shutter button is unnecessary and just a way to grab attention of iphone users that there's something "new". Android you can just set the volume rocker as the shutter button...just that you can't zoom with it

I hate these arguements between android and apple fans. For most normal people they do everything the other can do. Multitasking on a phone isnt for normal usage which most people do. All about preference, eco system usage etc. in this day and age all these phones are as good as eachother for photos, watching stuff, social media.

While it’s cool to do these comparisons, I don’t know why some people get so triggered by the results. I’ve tried both phones and both have their strengths/limitations. I personally prefer the pictures on the iPhone and that’s the most important thing to me, making Samsung’s features a moot point.

I’m returning my 16PM and keeping my S24U. The 16PM beats the S24U when it comes to battery life/video. However, Samsung is closing the gap when it comes to video.

It’s kinda funny How When Samsung released the bixby custom button in 2017, people HATED on that button for 3 years until poor Samsung removed it.
And now suddenly
People want it again because apple added it 😂 and called it (action button) with very limited functionality.
