i'm that guy upgrading from a 14 Pro Max 256 GB to a 16 Pro Max 512 GB mainly for battery, weight, AI, camera and editing like pause on video etc, and I'm used to upgrading each year, but I purchased my 14 Pro Max later than usual.

Funny I just finished watching another one of your videos where my phone arrived halfway through it lol, and wanting to get a M4 MacBook this year, but they're pricey and I don't need all the power, but that iPad with its keyboard would actually work perfect too, especially with the touchscreen and apps I'm used to, but I'm usually not that lucky, who knows maybe this will be my lucky month.

The only reason why I’m not changing my iPhone 14 Pro Max is because of it’s stainless steel body. The heft, the weight itself is really impressive. I hold 15 pro max and it was so light. Same is the case with the latest 16 pro max. I may stick with my 14 pro max for maybe for another couple of years more.

For me, essential reasons to upgrade to base 16PM from 14PM, if one can: USB-C and bigger (newer) battery; bonuses: "bigger" screen, more storage, and (yes, lastly) AI. These are definitely not insigificant reasons.

Crazy. I just went and tried the 16 pro at the store and even though on paper it seems like a big enough upgrade from the 14 pro, in actual usage it seemed like the exact same phone

In the US at least the carrier deals are a little insane. I upgraded 2 12 Pro Max models for my sons but was going to pass as I have a 14 Pro Max. While on the website though I found a deal that was too good to pass up so decided to grab it for the discount, USB C and the camera button.

I use to own a 14 Pro Max, but it got lost. I’m currently on a 13 and about to upgrade to the 16 Pro Max. With the 14, I remember it was a bit too heavy, but I miss so many things about it! To me, the screen and speakers are noticeably better and I didn’t thing Dynamic Island was a big deal when I had it. I missed it too! Last but not least, I miss the battery life and camera of a Max! Add in all the other goodies and I will be a happy camper. Y’all get way too caught up in looking for a feature that will change your life like the original iPhone did. Just enjoy what’s there now instead of what may come in the future!

I have both the 14 & 15 ProMax. The 15 sounds cleaner & crispier, but lacks in overall bass & volume. The 14 ProMax performs beautifully for music listening with Bluetooth speakers.

Apple should’ve kept the sound signature from the 14 ProMax. If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.
