I love the IPhone 16 Pro Max cameras coming from the IPhone 15 Pro Max . I think overall the 16 Pro Max is much more sharper and detailed specifically in capturing real, natural colours without the needing to edit photos or video.

Hey! I purchased the iPhone 15 Pro Max in January 2024 as a first time Apple user after being with Samsung for over 10 years. I like the phone a lot and I’m still trying to learn it but I’m having trouble understanding all of the features of the camera and the phone itself. When I heard the 16 Pro Max was coming out and when Apple announced the 15 Pro Max was being discontinued, I was really upset and felt regret but many people told me it’s not worth switching over since I have 15 Pro Max. Where can I go to learn all of the features on a 15 Pro Max as a first time Apple user, especially with the camera?

This was basically an S upgrade for the internal hardware. The 5x lens is still not good in my opinion. It’s too blurry and shows artifacting when compared to the main lens.

Thank you for clearly explaining the 'so-called' 48-megapixel sensor on the UW lens, and the configurations required to force its activation--most reviewers don't explain this as succinctly. I've seen some interesting reviews comparing image quality on the 12 Pro Max versus the 16 Pro Max. Under some circumstances the 12 Pro Max images were obviously much better--under many conditions there wasn't a great deal of difference--not warranting payment of $2500Au to upgrade just to get the 'new' camera. Of course, the CPU performance is considerably improved in benchmarks--without translation to significant real-world improvements. The 16 Pro Max does have 8 Gb of RAM, versus 6 Gb on the 12 Pro Max. However, all 'improvements' since 2020 have been minor increments rather than revolutionary--most users couldn't even detect them.

2:54 I’m glad it’s not just me that the 3x zoom on the 15 pro has graininess around the subjects which is very unpleasant especially when the lighting gets dimmer or in low light (without night mode)

I’m not sure whether I’ll buy the iPhone 16 Pro Max or go for the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, which is coming out soon with a global version. Not only is the system more pleasant to use, but the sensors are also much larger, so in theory, the photos and videos should be better.
