Wow! I got goosebumps, I teared up, I laughed out loud, I beamed with patriotic prided, I nodded emphatically. You are an incredible storyteller Sharon Amesu. I’m inspired and I’m enlivened 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

A fine TEDX Talk Sharon - amazing! So proud of you and I'm inspired by your message to reflect and stand strong in what I do. It got me thinking about my own ancestors - my great grandmother (never met her) who wore bloomers on a bicycle, who had rotten veg thrown at her in her village for being so daring - a suffragette perhaps, I'll never know... And my granny Cordelia, who wanted to be a journalist (but her father wouldn't let her because she 'might have to attend a fire' - omg!) so instead, she ran special interest groups for women in the NW, booking speakers, speaking herself, being a visible role model in her own way. Thank you!

An amazingly powerful talk that really got me thinking not just about my ancestors but also my legacy. Incredibly thought provoking and delivered with power. Thank you for the reminder of who I am and where I come from!

We DO think like ancestors. We are largely made from our ancestors.
Yes, we should prepare ourselves to think like our descendents ancestors.
Don't make this discussion about race. Make it a positive message to inspire.
