Eurail does not give you a seat reservation

If you are taking the train around Europe on the Eurail pass remember, it does not give you a seat reservation. you need to get that

For Germany, you can get just a reservation online or via the mobile app. Much easier than actually trying to find someone to talk to.

I only get a reservation for an ICE, if I am traveling in a group of more than two, or if the train is shown to be at capacity (you can check that via the mobile app, as well).

Also be ready for the train to totally fail 8/10 times in Germany
