In the interview Aonuma said they had a full years worth of the Zelda maker done before they changed it to Echoes of Wisdom. That must have been heartbreaking to scrap so much work 😖

It’d be super cool if they had an optional 2nd screen tablet that could attach onto the top/bottom of the Super Switch. That could allow for 2DS/3DS backwards compatibility. If it could also be separate with joy-cons attached and streaming from the base, it could also provide Wii U backwards compatibility, and similar remote play features as a PlayStation Portal. Name that Super Switch Otōto (little/younger brother) 😉

You know what would be awesome? If Nintendo allowed selected thirdies to make accessories. But not the way it is now, something more rooted in the hardware. This USB-C should work as a standard USB-C and let devs make what they want, implementing the functions they want.

I've personally thought Nintendo might dip their toe back into VR to be the Ultimate Hybrid console with Switch 2, and have been saying that since everyone started talking Switch 2. I'm still betting on that. It could probably run whatever Quest 3 runs.

don’t you think it would be so cool if the top part had an accessory for fatal frame that yeah you could play the game without it but if you had it maybe like it would light up a little bit in the direction of the ghost for you to either move the device or turning game to make it slightly easier to find them or even allow you infinite low grade film. Something like that would be really cool a peripheral that you don’t necessarily need but would make things easier.

If a camera is a part of NS2 it should have said camera/cameras built into the NS2. Also, NS2 should be capable & better the original NS & everything that came before it. Lastly, I want the new peripheral to be a second screen that's can attached & detached, maybe a keyboard, or a device that adds street pass functionality.

That means that Nintendo is going to reveal Switch 2 only after the holiday season…. For instance, what the hack DK Returns (Wii game) gonna launch for Switch in January 25??? Only to fill the gap… 😢

Top usb-c could connect a second screen to be able to play DS & 3DS games from Nintendo online.

I always wondered why nintendo didn't allow us to also attach the joycons with the switch in a vertical position (portrait mode). That way, it would allow DS and 3DS backward compatibility. Maybe having a USB on top will allow us to attach usb c controller on both sides and do just that?

I hope ms and sony aren't releasing new handhelds soon. Once ps and xbox unleashed their new handhelds it might be the beginning of the end for Nintendo.

Am I crazy for wanting the switch 2 for everything but Nintendo games? I'm willing to try Nintendo games out for sure, as a PlayStation fanboy growing up the switch has impressed me. Would get a steam deck but I suck at going into settings to make games run as good as possible. With the switch you just put the game in you want to play and boom you're ready.

All I am saying is Nintendo has not been able to resell those DS and 3D S games in many years. A dual screen switch 2 allows them to start reselling DS and 3DS titles again or making them available as part of Nintendo online service.
