The only thing Mazda is doing wrong is it's marketing. The engine technology is way ahead of the competition. CAN'T believe they stopped making the Mazda6. I just bought a used one lucky for me found a 2021 with under 15k miles. It is definitely one of the better sedans out there.

Looking at 500k km on my 2015. Its not a super fast car but its enough and gets me there safely and comfortably. Will be buying another Mazda in the future with this engine.

They made a big SUV with an eco six line diesel with a real 5l consum, big hybdrids can go with 6-7l or more.

I have 2013 one with the same angine and fully equipped. Nice and reliable car for fair amount of money. Has 250000km on it, of which 50k is mine. Only regular maintainace on 10k, fuel and windshield fluid. Considering the size of the engine, fuel economy is suprisingly low. The same as toyota corolla 1.6 2019 that I've ridden for 3 years, which has 60hp less and is significantly lighter car...

The amount of comments from people who are clueless is staggering. It's a NA engine on an SUV, it's not supposed to be fast from 0 to 60. It has plenty of power to overtake and have some fun and the sound is really nice. The video doesn't make it justice.

The car also drives really nicely.

I have a mazda 3 2.5. It drives better than a sonata and was only 25k when most brand new cars that drive worse (corolla) (altima) are priced the same. Oh. And I got leather seats and 18” rims 😅. Not hubcaps, rims

What Mazda engine makes 194hp? In North America we only get the 2.5l with 187 (now 191) or the turbo with 250hp and 320 ft lbs torque.

I think I prefer my 2019 Civic over this, the engine feels very coarse and the very cramped rear passenger seats would drive me mad.
