I owned a Saab for a very short time (until someone plowed into it, totaled). Kind of weird looking but very good for driving in the snow. I guess because it was very heavy.

My 93 Aero has the GM 2.8T engine. GM actually did a great job with the 2.8T. Mine has 320 hp and 400 tq with just a tune but these engines are known to handle north of 500 HP without having to put forged internals. Way cheaper to make power with these compared to the little 2.0T.

Volvo on the other hand survived because they invested in a new platform and economical 4 cylinder hybrids.
