Holy shit. I'm German and right now I feel like singing "God save the Queen". This is a wonderful and marvellous display of Britain's achievements. Think of all the preparations necessary to pull this off - all the administrative and logistic work in the background. This is not only a proud and lovely camerashot, this is a piece of beauty. Furthermore it's also a meeting of times with all the vintage buildings, the old trees and of course the Palace coming together with the works of a new millenium.

There are not many TV shows in the world who could pull that one off, but the BBC did it. Kudos chaps, very very well made!
