Bought a cheap dump bed f350 to do a few projects but now theyre telling me i need commercial insurance which is crazy expensive. Its just an f350 without any different gvwr than any other f350 used to do household work, daily drive, etc. I dont understand it. How is it any different than any other truck? How do I get this changed? Ill have to sell it. My old E350 was like $70/month now they want $500 at progessive. Thay can had the same weight rating. It was also used by a business. Who makes up these stupid rules?

ok question ....so when getting insurance you have to add the drivers, does this include the comm rentals. Basically do i have to add drivers to insurance if im renting reefer trucks or this only applies to owner vehicles?
