I was there that night. I sat to the right of where Bruce was so I watched the monitors. When he talked about his regret in not having the band inducted with him in 1999, you could see the tears in his eyes. Then the camera zoomed in on Steven who just let the tears flow. No matter who you are, you make mistakes and have regrets. Springsteen is as real as it gets. Respect.

I'll never forget Clarence C buying us sailors a drink in a nice chill bar in Maui back in 1985 . I still got the pic . R.I.P. Mr. Bigman . Inspiring .

Pure. Genuine. Deep. Beautiful. Noble. Crucial. Human. Precious.

Bruce, that was the greatest, most thorough and heartfelt induction I've ever heard. Period. You were born to speak, as well.

Bruce is a National Treasure. He talks like he writes. Legend.

You can clearly see the pain etched on his face when he says he wishes the Phantom and the Big Man are not there. He's so close to breaking down after all those two had been with Bruce over 35 years. Miss you Danny and Clarence.

We grew up, like Bruce, in Freehold, NJ. My older sisters, somehow, were onto Bruce early on. My favorite album is his first. My sisters played it over and over. As a local guy close to where Bruce lives, he's a class act. He's given a lot to local causes. Loved them since their first album. Well done.

The "Ladies and gentlemen, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band!" that opens the live version of 'Thunder Road' from 1975 is so deeply etched in my brain, when I see Bruce I see them all.

"real bands are made primarily from the neighborhood. From a real time and real place that exists for a little while, then changes and is gone forever." So beautifully stated.

Quite possibly the greatest rock 'n roll band of all time!
Seen them twice and the talent, the tightness, the musical mastery of the E Street Band is a sight to behold!
Since Day 1, their live shows are epic. Legendary. Heart-pounding. Nerve-wracking. And totally unforgettable!

You can see his eyes welling up as he's mentioned in Clarence and Danny

What an incredible speech covering all his people. Such love for his team and clearly why he is so beloved by the E Street Band, his family, and his fans all over the world for decades and generations throughout his career. A true legend of the game as is every single member of the legendary and timeless E Street Band.

Saw Bruce and the E Street Band (with Vinnie and David) for the first time at the Main Point, outside of Philly, in early '73. I think Greetings had just come out. Sitting in the front row with my sister enjoying the music, and like everyone else there, had no idea of what this band was to become. 48 years ago, but seems like yesterday.

I love the emotion and pride at 2:18 that Garry Tallent shows when Bruce acknowledges his contribution for 40 years - a beautiful moment

Nobody gives out credits like this guy. I've had the pleasure on working on his show and there has been no star before or since who has appreciated the local crew as he did. If anyone can get a word on to him, we appreciate it- a lot.

The only reason I wanted to play Tenor Sax was Clarence Clemons. The only reason my parents bought me that tenor sax back in the day was Clarence Clemons. Be WELL ALL! :)

The narrative you tell together is bigger than the story you tell on your own, The Rolling Stones
