I hear jungleland it takes me back to the 70s. Hanging out on the street corners in north Philly. Getting shot at every weekend by Puerto Ricans. It was truly the jungle. So you see I hear jungleland. I believe Bruce is writing that Rock and roll ANTHEM about us people who really live in the ghettos the Badlands. Looking to get to the promised Land. BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN really had his ear and his eyes on the streets of the cities in the 70s.
