Gary Tallent ... Clearly the most underrated bass player of history and maybe one of the best

Damn! That was so so satisfying! Besides the lovely trip down memory lane, it was affirmation that they were a helluva great act from the start. The fact that they still sound great all these years late, is icing on the cake.

Loved these huge Springsteen opus-type songs. Ever-changing stories that grabbed us by the throat. Amazing performance.

Just saw Bruce on his tour and this song is played every night. Still rocking in 2023. Love him for 42 years now. Got to meet him and kiss him in 2018 outside Broadway show. One of the best nights of my life

So much emotion in a band and this performance and Yes, Gary's bass lines were something that you just could not ignore. They moved, they grooved. A night for the history books for sure.

Peace and love, my brothers.
I was so fortunate to witness the mighty Es

PS saw it happen! In Allentown, Pa...just a week after "The Wild"
was released....Bruce opened to phenomenal musicians Weather Report....but, frankly, when Mr. S. started dancing on top of the piano, it was pretty much "game over"

It's great that almost all of them had a chance to do a solo.

There are some great solos here, not to mention the oddity of Mad Dog Lopez and Might Max Weinberg both playing. For my money, if you want to key in on one thing in this performance, just listen to Garry W. Tallent's bass line.

Lucky enough to be at this ceremony. This was only one of the many highlights of the night.
