I think they got stopped on purpose. Were already being tracked. Wanted to know who he was traveling with.

They were tracking him.He was stopped 2Xs that day.They didn't want him to flee.Great work detectives. They didn't want him to get away.

The cop should have given him a ticket for stopping so close to the traffic lane that the cop couldn't go to the driver's side of the car.

Questions you should all ask yourselves before criticizing the police officer(s).
Do you think they have had enough evidence at that point to arrest him? Do you think it would be smart to question him without the DNA results from a crime scene being ready? In my opinion, it would only give him an opportunity to flee after the voluntary interview that he might have done on this day.
