Exactly. I attended one company this week and i cleared 3 Technical and 1 HR and then the responses of the HR gave me a signal that they are thinking that they are doing a favor to me. I am double thinking if i really need to join them. In my HR round i asked a lot of key questions as you said .

Exactly my L2 person said i don't care what you do, i want client to be happy. These minute things have given me clarity.

This video is very nice. its time, employee should start scrutinizing the bosses and company before joining. Companies should not think they are doing favor by giving employment.

Most managers answer the same way as mentioned in the video. If you are successful, they take the credit. If you fail, you own the responsibility. Your immediate manager won't allow you to grow. My suggestion is to have a good rapport with your manager's manager and make them understand your value. Everything falls in place. You can tell your senior manager that your manager is at fault.

Guys, keep the points at the back seat. Job seekers dont have many options, so people do videos for wonderland. But in reality, people need money to run the family. So, get on the job, move one. His friend has options and might get into lala Company.

I think professionalism and clear communication can solve toxicity to some extent. Like updating everything in group chat, mailing each and everything ccing managers, so that there will be proof that nothing is lagging from my side, and I am doing my job well.

If the manager is toxic, in offline, if we come in front of him, he goes back, he don't have guts to face us.But he give rewards to some favoured employees.

Wow, I mean, until I saw this video, I just thought of the managers answer and it went well in my mind.
I mean, manager will just let me be, and do my job. And I can meet my high expectations.

But then I rewatched the video and I am more confused than ever

Anand whilst on the subject, can you also elaborate on the regionalism which is a reality in the present day corporates. Especially if a north Indian working in a company dominated by south Indians who dont allow the north Indians to grow in an organisation.

1 thing for sure, there are many toxic employees as well, those that are resistant to do any work start a very innocent campaign against manager, there are many trust me. Also the other side is true where many incompetent mgr make work difficult. Employees always assume something is wrong w company mgr etc. they lack skills, hv bad attitude, lazy etc. Even in a worst situation an employee who is sincere will shine, these videos seem like a new way to make money from those looking to find complaints and get solace in their ignorance. A truly good employee will overcome and make the best of any situation. Life isn't an amusement park, u hv to deal w everything, stop complaining. Steve jobs was fired from his own company, he overcame, be like him, not a duffer.

As per social media, most of the answers are related to IT domain alone. There is no inputs for other sectors.

What is the safest time to take revenge on your Dictatorship Manager ?
Is it After leaving the company ?
Or a Few Days before the last Day?
When is the right time to complain to HR and be Safe? 😁

I am facing a problem in my company. I am having 15 years of experience. I am a full technical development guy. My designation is Technical Manager. Recently I have moved to a project where some 6-10 years experience peoples are there. When i ask for any support, they did not provide any support. They are intentionally providing wrong input or they said like they dont know anything but they know everything. When any juniors asked doubt, they are clarifying it very clearly. I have escalated this to my manager's manager. He said that he will take some strict action. What would be the right approach sir?
