Cubase Pro 9 - Review, New Features & Live Demo

I review and demonstrate the new features in Cubase Pro 9. I also give my opinion on the changes. New mixer history, sampler track, window layout (zoning), plugins, sample packs, and more.

Overall I think this is a great update that is certainly worth upgrading to. Most of these new features add flexibility and make your productions and audio engineering more efficient and will save you lots of time.

Happy new year!!! Can you tell me what are you doing after upgrade to the new cubase, do you delete the old version of it? I have 3 version on my mac, afraid to delete the old one in case of not loosing my plugins or projects. Thanks

Hey cool video. Interested in your opinion. It will cost $200 to upgrade from 8 to 9. That's steep. Especially when you can buy a full logic x for cheaper not just an upgrade. I'm tempted to move to logic. I know it's a personal choice but was interested in your opinion.

There is one thing that absolutely makes no sense to me. When I open up an old project, sometimes the synths and the plug-ins won't open, they're "missing". I don't understand why.

Could you or someone else do me a favor? Could you check the plug-ins under "mastering" and see if there is only supposed to be one plug-in there, the UV22HR and nothing else? I deleted a lot of plug-ins, and I don't know if I accidentally deleted any stock Cubase plug-ins.
