Tips to not get scammed:
1. Eat at Table Service Restaurants. Or see if Disney Dining Plan is offered. Fast Disney Food is only a few bucks less and will DRAG your energy down.

2. Only visit once every 3-5 yrs

3. Don't buy bottled water. They give out free water at all places that they sell soda.

4. If something you want to buy is available at world of Disney, skip it. Only get Park exclusive merch.

5. Don't go to A park every single day. Go hotel hopping. The front desks will be happy to include you and your family in hotel activities. (No pool access)

6. Edit: in addition to creating a list with one or two favorite or anticipated attractions, try and hit those attractions as soon as you can. This works especially for Disneyland Park Anaheim California. There are too many things to do.

7. Do not be afraid to bring in your own snacks. I wouldn't recommend strictly eating what you bring because it's psychologically traumatizing. However, I suggest getting creative with snacks and put them in small coolers in one backpack so that way you have something interesting and tasty which was made ahead of time. Bento boxes heavily recommended.

8. Do not be afraid to pull the kids out of school for a 3-day weekend... 80% of the year it's completely busy. But, if you visit during the week around February March or anytime that it's inconvenient to take kids out of school, you're going to have an amazing time.

9. Do not waste your time at overpriced neighborhood hotels. I recommend staying 70% of the time in a budget or mid-range Disney property hotel, and then, finish off that last 30% at a deluxe hotel. You can use the Disney magic Express service which will take your luggage from your current hotel to the next hotel without you having to lift a finger. Please do not leave the do not disturb sign on the door. We cannot help you that way.
