Based on my knowledge of that specific ren faire honestly it’s not hard to go either really really cheap or really really expensive.

I’ve been to four fairs now. I’ve never spent more than $40 at each and it was only on food.

I’m shrewd enough to know that most of the stuff there is either way marked up, worth the money but still too expensive, or something I can make myself (as a 3d printer, pyrographer, cartographer, and woodworker)

I’m so glad my ren fair is affordable. $16 to get in, food options under $10, and they allow you to bring in outside food/non alcoholic bevs. I know I can have a day full of entertainment with as little as $20…
But I rarely ever spend that little lol.

I went 2 weekends and I probably spent around $200 including the tickets. The trick is to go by yourself! I spent more money when I had friends lol

We just went to a renaissance fair and for 2 turkey legs and 2 sausages on a stick $36 alone. Crazy lol definitely not worth what they charge but it was still an experience
