so relaxing, loved this. we used to play coconut crack when we were kids, it was basically a way of deciding who was 'it' for a game or something like that. you'd cramp your hands together and then in a circle, one person would hit their hands on top of everyone else's. whoever landed on crack would split their hands to 2 fists and if that person was 'cracked' a second time they would take one hand away and again until that person was out of the circle. the game would continue until only 2 people were left and both had only 1 hand in the circle. the loser was whoever still had one hand in the circle, and that person would then have to be 'it' or whatever for the actual game you were playing. sorry, literally nobody asked but it reminded me of being a kid and so i thought i'd share my weird british childhood game

I’m in a state of constant anxiety because hurricane Milton is on track for a direct hit to me in Tampa, FL and I can’t evacuate because I don’t have the money. Cross your fingers and toes for me family. I even staged my 5 yr old’s swimming vest incase the surge gets out of control cause she can’t swim yet 😭
