The single best piece of advice was in this video. Do NOT replace your owned dj library with a streaming service. Do NOT rely on streaming services for 100% of your music. It's great when you get those song requests that you dont have. I missed out on a $100 tip because I didnt have a song last week. That would have payed for 10 months of a streaming service. Dang it!

anybody who uses streamed music is taking the Micky if your a DJ go to proper download service and buy your music in a proper resolution wav or aif which will sound loads better than any stream, you owe it to the dancers and to the artists' whose music you are playing. if your making money from this pay for your music and support the artists that make the stuff and if you buy from Bandcamp the artist will also actually get the money.

Kinda unprofessional if you ask me for a "pro" DJ school/ tutorial channel to completely forget about a major DJ software platform like Traktor. Their DJ 2 software supports Soundcloud btw.

just FYI, spotify is no longer supported on third party DJ softwares, since the 1st June 2020 :(
