I am just blown away.... I loved the chopsticks pattern so much, but this is stunning.. and I have previously ordered the Serengeti prints because I visited the Serengeti, and fell in love with the beauty of the place and the animals. I took my daughter with me when she finished grade 8, it was my dream to visit the Serengeti and share it with her and now I am going to make my first quilt for myself, which she will share with me when she visits and 'forever' after .... such love will be present in this quilt, and I want to thank you both for lovely fabrics, expert video instruction and wonderful precuts ... I am so happy right now!!

Love the quilt. Am adding it to my long bucket list of your quilts I want to make. One suggestion is that you mark the 10 inch square before cutting the diagonal lines. Then you wouldn't have to hold the two pieces together for accurate marking.

What a great tip on marking for the strip! I've inserted strips before but my block always ended up wonky. Every time I watch your videos I want to immediately make that quilt. Thank you for showing how simple it can be to make a quilt.
